For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark... (Matthew 24:38).It also brings to mind the Bible passage in Ephesians, chapter 6, verse 12:
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. The Gadianton Robbers of our times are more than drug cartels, terrorists, and gangsters--they are the groups who seek power and gain at the expense of everyone else. And they have disdain for the Church of God and his saints. No surprise there, but this is a confirmation. Anti-Mormonism lurks in every corner of society. In evangelical churches, in synagogues, temples, and houses of worship of other faiths. It exists in the halls of governments and in the local, state, national, and international organizations. It exists among the educated and the uneducated. And it exists, as we see here, among the wealthiest power-brokers in America.
No matter where it exists, anti-Mormonism is hate.
